Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be a bird? Soaring through the sky, gazing at your reflection in a lake, or being part of a squawking flock?

Cake Of Day invites children and parents into an imaginative world of birds, where we will create a sonic universe of birdsong, bird calls and dream bird sounds together. Inspired by French composer Olivier Messiaen’s work with birdsong, we explore free birds and caged birds, lonely birds and community.
